We are not just a company. We are our mission.

IntegriSense provides precision images, services and advice to role-players in the
agriculture and natural resource sectors, as well as earth observation/ remote
sensing (RS) and geo-information (GIS) education, career experience, and
research opportunities, using high quality, high-resolution UAV remote sensing data,
technologies and software.

foster entrepreneurial growth in Southern Africa through vision, skill and opportunity;
grow the geographical sciences as a scientific and career field through research and experience gain opportunities;
ensure food, water and biodiversity security for future generations;
and redefine service excellence in the globally key arenas of natural
resource management, food security, precision agriculture, and education.

IntegriT Agri-Sense was started in 2015 by Mr Theo Pistorius,
following an Imvelisi Initiative entrepreneurship and ideation week.

Theo
Pistorius

Founder, Managing Director

Theo Pistorius is a junior lecturer in Earth Observation and Satellite Remote Sensing at Stellenbosch University, and a graduate of the same institution.

He has presented research on disruptive technologies such as UAV technology, ad hoc sensors, and utilising social media and crowd-sourcing in remote sensing, at (amongst others) the International Geography and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) in Quebec, Canada, in 2014.

His experience includes projects in
engineering, disaster management, water and agriculture mapping and sensing, and plant stress assessment through multi- and hyperspectral remote sensing.

Gustav
Pistorius

Director

Gustav is a business turnaround specialist, corporate risk management expert, executive consultant and facilitator who currently owns and operates Gustoprod (Pty) Ltd, a management consulting firm situated in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Prior to branching out with Gustoprod Gustav worked as a director at Foskor (Pty) Ltd, one of the world's largest phosphate mining, processing and export companies.

He also has experience working with Sigma Vaughn Sterling Pensions and Solutionsfinding.

Gustav is currently consulting to the Northern Cape Department of Health, acting as the chief turn-around strategist.

the top biodiversity, GIS and remote sensing department in South Africa.

Stellenbosch University, and its sub-unit, the Centre for Geographic Analysis
(creators of the SUDEM, South Africa’s only fine-scale DEM),
have also signed on as strategic education partners,
meaning that, while they manage advanced services 
and provide educational services to those funded by
IntegriSense,
we will contribute to research and skills-development, and provide high-resolution data
for research, product and student training purposes.
